Actress Samantha is all set to play leading lady opposite NTR Jr in his forthcoming film directed by Harish Shankar of Gabbar Singh fame. Confirming the news, the director told us, “Yes, we zeroed in on Samantha for the main lead. However, we are still searching for the second female lead.” Harish reveals that the shooting of the film will start from the second week of December. The director reveals that the untitled flick is all set to be an out-and out entertainer, dismissing rumours that the film is set against a political backdrop. There was also much speculation that the movie will be titled MLA. “That’s not true. The movie is still to get a title and it does not have a political theme. It’s a fresh story and will be a feast for all NTR fans,” says Harish, who adds that most of the film’s shoot will be held in Hyderabad only. “Around 80% of the shooting will be done in the city and the rest of the schedule will take place in Karnakata and Pollachi,” he adds.
